Knights Women's Lacrosse players receive Academic All-Conference honors
Laurinburg, N.C. - Five women from the Knights women's lacrosse program have been named to the 2023-2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference list for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher in the classroom while competing as a student athlete this past season: Alyssa Smith, Dani Seunath, Rebekah Schuyler, Shannon Primrose-Smith, & Ariana Radno.
Additionally, Rebekah Schuyler and Dani Seunath made the 2023-24 Daktronics NAIA Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athletes honors list by a maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale; appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.
"Im really proud of my players," Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Daniel Hunter said. "It doesn't always come down to winning for me. I want them to succeed in the classroom so that when their time here at St. Andrews is done, they go on to be successfful in all aspects of life. That to me is real success. And that's the team culture that I aim to build here with my players."
