Perkins collects second POW Award this season

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Aaron Levarity of Milligan and Morgan Perkins of St. Andrews are Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's and Women's Basketball Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the ninth edition of the weekly honors for the 2018-19 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 28.

AAC Women's Basketball of the Week

Morgan Perkins - St. Andrews - Soph. - Florence, S.C.

Averaged 24.5 points and 14.5 rebounds on the week as St. Andrews went 1-1.

Recorded two double-doubles during the week.

Posted 29 points and 14 rebounds in a 64-52 win over Brenau.

Also had 6 steals and 4 steals last week.

This is her second weekly honor this season.
