Chad Walters Added to Men's Lacrosse Coaching Staff
(Laurinburg, NC) – The St Andrews University Men's Lacrosse program is excited to announce the return of SAU Alum, Chad Walters. Chad comes back to Laurinburg after obtaining his Master's in Business Administration last season.
With a year of collegiate coaching under his belt as the Graduate Assistant-Offensive Coordinator, Walters is excited to get back to work towards an even better 2022 season.
"Chad brings an energy to our program that cannot be matched. His knowledge of the game and experience at Lincoln Memorial and here at SAU make him a dangerous coach to go up against, and we couldn't be luckier to have him back." Head Coach, Bryan Habick when asked about the hiring.
Prior to his time at SAU, Coach Walters played at Lincoln Memorial (DII-TN). A four-year starter at midfield for the Railsplitters, Walters notched 31 Points on 23 Goals and eight Assists in 47 games. He wasn't just an offensive threat, being that he had 17 Caused Turnovers and 56 Groundballs in his career.
A native of Atlanta, GA, Coach Walters graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and will be the Knights Recruiting & Offensive Coordinator as well as their Strength & Conditioning Coach. He currently resides in Laurinburg.
