Golf Competes at East Tennessee Collegiate
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The St. Andrews Men's and Women's Golf teams traveled to Tennessee to compete in the East Tennessee Collegiate for their second tournament of the season.
The tournament was cut a day short due to weather, leading Day 1 scores to count as the final scores of the tournament. The SAU men's golf team finished 7th with a score of 324, while the SAU women's team finished 10th with a 369-team score.
Leading the men's team for the Knights was Yusuke Niwa as he finished with a score of 75, 3 over par, tying for 12th place with 4 others. Matthew Song hit for a score of 79, tying for 23rd out of 43 golfers.
The SAU women's team was led by Michaelah Wise with a score of 84, followed behind by teammate Erica Boyd who hit for a score of 85.
The Knights will next compete in the AAC Fall Invite, with the men's team competing Oct. 11th-13th and the women's team teeing off on Oct. 19th.
