St. Andrews Golf Competes in Point Fall Invitational
West Point, GA – St. Andrews men and women's golf competed in the Point Fall Invitational against Point, Brenau, Truett-McConnell and Reinhardt.
Round 1
Yusuke Niwa (SR/Nagoya, Japan) led the Knights in the first round with a 76. The St. Andrews men's golf team had a team score of 335 in the first round to put them ninth out of nine teams.
Erica Boyd (FR/Charlotte, NC) led the St. Andrews women's golf team in round one with a 79, putting her in fourth place. The women's golf team had a score of 372 at the end of the first round. St. Andrews women's golf sat fifth out of six teams.
Round 2
Ramon Fernandez-Cano (SO/Madrid, Spain) and Milan Minto (FR/Greenville, NC) each tallied an 81 in round two for the men's golf team. The Knights put together a total team score of 341. The men's team finished with a total score of 676 to keep them at ninth for the event.
Boyd led the women's team in round two with an 81. Boyd finished tied for sixth for the event among all women golfers with a total score of 160. The women's golf team ended round two with a team score of 376, finishing the event in sixth place.
Next Up
St. Andrews golf will compete in its next event in Johnson City, TN. Milligan University will host the event on September 28 (Monday) and 29 (Tuesday).
