LAURINBURG, N.C. - The summer of 2019 has brought several exciting updates to the campus of St. Andrews and the Athletics Department.
The weight room received an equipment renovation through funding by the SAU football team and men's basketball team. Nine Titan half racks were installed, accompanied by adjustable incline benches, Texas power bars, and 63 new black bumper plates. Resistance bands are now available for use in the weight room with three varying resistances.
The St. Andrews University Athletics Department is also launching a new face of sauknights.com. The Knights' athletic page was due for a much-needed update and will be launching on August 23rd, accompanied by a new modernized St. Andrews Athletics logo.
The fresh face of the athletics site has transformed from the current dark scheme, to a sharp and light platform. The enhanced site is hoped to be more user and mobile-friendly for fans that visit sauknights.com.
Updating the logo is also a step-forward for St. Andrews in staying hand in hand with athletic departments worldwide that have transitioned to more compact and modern logos.
